The safety basis, and what we test.

The source organism has decades of documented safe use in humans. The testing programme below is what we run on top of that record.

Why the source matters.

The carrier is a lipid bilayer of biological origin rather than a synthetic one, and the organism it comes from holds GRAS status with extensive clinical data behind its use in humans.

That is a safety argument a formulator can carry into their own risk assessment, and it is one of the practical reasons we chose a probiotic yeast over a cell line.

We will not make medical claims. Where biological mechanism informs marketing, it gets described accurately and tied to the evidence underneath it.

What we test, and when.

Cell viability at every stress step
Preconditioning is a controlled stress, so culture health is measured at each step of it.
Endotoxin testing on every batch
Run per lot, not per campaign, and reported in the batch documentation.
Reconstructed skin models
In vitro irritation and sensitisation work on human skin models, in place of animal testing.
HRIPT before launch
Human repeat insult patch testing ahead of any commercial cosmetic launch.
Independent dermatological assessment
Assessed outside the company, with results described in plain language.
